Making Waves Online

Updated: Jul 1

Cooke Aquaculture Scotland supports the website launch!

At such an early stage in our development support from the industry has been exceptional. Our grass-roots organisation is creating an impact through partnerships, connecting with people and working with them on shared goals. This strategy allows us to be agile and create great results on a budget!

Some things do, however, require cold hard cash.

With this in mind, we would like to thank Cooke Aquaculture Scotland for being our first direct financial supporter! With their help we have been able to launch the website you are reading this blog on. We think it looks fab, and it would not have been possible without their generosity. This is a vital piece of the YAS puzzle, and having a leader in the Salmon aquaculture sector support us in this is a brilliant result.

Konstancja Woźniacka, a key contributor to the website development, shared her excitement, saying, 'Crafting the YAS website was a labour of love, but it's amazing to see our collective efforts culminate in a platform that not only informs but also inspires others to join our cause.'

According to Rhianna Rees, our website developer, being part of the team behind the scenes of the YAS website was an exciting experience: 'It's incredible to see our vision come to life online. This platform will be a game-changer for connecting with our community and driving positive change in the aquaculture industry.'

So, what's in store for you on our new website? Prepare to be immersed in a world of possibilities! From the latest news and YAS updates to empowering stories from young professionals, our website is your go-to source for all things aquaculture.

If you want to get involved in the YAS journey, there are several ways to engage with us. Reach out on one of our many channels, we would love to hear from you!
